WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team fell to Army West Point, 184-100, on Saturday at Crandall Pool.
The Bison (0-1, 0-1 PL) were again led by Noah Basista, who accounted for two of the team's three individual victories. The freshman outraced the field in the 100 and 200 breaststroke races; in addition, he placed third in the 200 IM and swam the second leg for Bucknell's runner-up 200 medley relay team.
Basista previously won the 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly and swam the second leg for both first-place relay teams during the Bison's season-opening meet at Colgate.
Leo Kuyl was Bucknell's other individual victor against the Black Knights, touching the wall first in the 50 freestyle. He also led off the second-place 200 freestyle relay team.
The Bison next welcome Lehigh to Kinney Natatorium on Saturday, March 27.
