Saturday's game vs. George Washington will be streamed at this link, while Johns Hopkins will also stream its home fixture vs. the Bison on Sunday here.
- The Bison will hit the road for the first time since September 12 at the Princeton Invite after having played their last six contests at Kinney Natatorium.
- Bucknell is 1-3 in its first four MAWPC fixtures, and will look to make up some ground in the MAWPC standings this weekend.
- Fordham leads the way in the MAWPC East standings with a 5-0 record, followed by George Washington (4-1), Wagner (2-4), Navy (1-1), Mount St. Mary's (1-3), Bucknell (1-3), and Johns Hopkins (0-2).
- Bucknell still has five MAWPC-East contests remaining after this weekend's triumvirate of games, with a weekend break sandwiched in between conference play when it travels to the Julian Fraser Memorial in Santa Clara, Calif. for four games from October 23-24.
- The Bison make their first trip to Washington, D.C. for a game at George Washington since September 29, 2018 after having played road games against the Colonials at the Saint James in Springfield, Va. over the past three seasons. Jack Lewis made an appearance for the Bison in Bucknell's last visit to the District as a first-year, scoring a goal in a defeat to the Colonials.
- Bucknell has only played one true road contest entering Saturday, when it faced host Princeton at the Princeton Invite on September 12. The Bison are 3-3 in home contests this year, and 3-4 in neutral site games so far. Dating back to the 2016 season, Bucknell is 22-7 in road contests.
- Andu Vlasceanu enters Saturday needing just seven goals to reach 100 for his career, while senior Lewis is 15 goals away with 85 career tallies.
- Bucknell has used its depth this season, with 11 players recording at least nine appearances so far this season. Additionally, six players have played and started all 14 games to date: Hasan Mogultay, Doruk Ozar, Vlasceanu, Josh Yardley, Jack Lewis, and Adrien Touzot.
- The Bison rebounded from a narrow defeat to the Colonials in Lewisburg their last time out on September 26 with a 9-5 win over Wagner second game of the day. In the win over Wagner, the Bison held the Seahawks to just five goals just eight days after falling to Wagner 11-14 in Kinney in the first MAWPC matchup. The Bison limited Wagner to just one goal in the second half, thanks in large part to a season-best 11 saves from Touzot in the cage.
- Bucknell has three more contests in Kinney Natatorium over the remainder of the season, with matchups against MAWPC newcomer Mount St. Mary's, Navy, and Johns Hopkins all scheduled at Kinney.
- George Washington and Navy are both receiving votes in the latest MAWPC poll.
- The Colonials enter the matchup at 7-9, but boast a 4-1 record in MAWPC play after playing a tough non-conference schedule. The Colonials split their last two matchups, defeating Wagner in their last time out, 12-11, on October 9 after dropping a 15-7 decision to #17 Fordham earlier that day.
- Navy is 6-10 this season, and will travel to Johns Hopkins before facing the Bison on Saturday evening.
- The Blue Jays are currently 1-11 this year, but have played a tough schedule that includes narrow losses to #4 Whittier and #7 Redlands in their last two games on Saturday, October 2.
- After this weekend's games, the Bison will travel to Santa Clara, Calif. for four games as part of the Julian Fraser Memorial.
