Episode 1: Dave & Tammy Cecchini (Mexican Wraps)Â
Episode 2: Joe Meehan (Sockeye Salmon)
Episode 3: Joey Lye (Breakfast Sandwiches and Pumpkin Muffins)
Episode 4: Richard Alexander (Country Style Ribs)
LEWISBURG, Pa. -- In our fifth and final installment of the "Cookin' with Coaches" series, presented by Weis Markets, head women's basketball coach Trevor Woodruff and his son, Bryce, take to the kitchen. In this series, the premise is simple: we asked some Bucknell coaches to take us into their kitchens and make their favorite meal or dessert. The series is not meant to be a lesson in nutrition, instead we asked the coaches to prepare something that they and their families simply enjoy. In the spirit of social distancing, the videos, just like the food, are all homemade by the coaches. Â
Coach Woodruff recently completed his first year at the helm of the Bison women's basketball team, and what a year it was! The Bison went 24-6 overall and 16-2 in the Patriot League, claiming the regular-season title in a landslide by four games over the runner-up team. Bucknell was the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Tournament and was preparing to host Holy Cross in a semifinal game when the season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the disappointment of the postseason being cut short, the 2019-20 season will go down as one of the best in team history. Woodruff, who was named Patriot League Coach of the Year this season, resides in Lewisburg with his wife, Melissa, and sons Bryce and Casey.
As you can see in the video, Bryce loves to cook, and he assists Dad with the creation of tasty ham and cheese pinwheels. We hope you enjoyed the "Cookin' with Coaches" series, stay safe and healthy, and Bon Appetit! Â
