"We are very excited to be at the Sykes Sabock Challenge at Penn State," said Head Coach Kevin Donner. "It's a smaller meet which allows our athlete to really be focused and excited to compete as well as supporting their teammates. Every event is very competitive, with some great teams in the northeast competing. There is not a weak event, and now that we are beyond the middle of the season, we need to be at or near our best."

About the Bison
- This will be Bucknell's first visit to the Sykes-Sabock Challenge since the 2008-09 season, where the squad placed ninth overall.
- Bucknell had a strong day in the field events at Penn State's National Open. Seniors Zach Ruiz and C.J. Falcioni each posted personal-bests in the shot put. Ruiz (53-9.25) took a top-ten finish in a challenging field, moving up to seventh on Bucknell's all-time list in the process. Ruiz has now set personal-bests in back-to-back weeks. Falcioni was one spot behind in 11th, also setting a new personal-best and moving up to eighth in the Bucknell rankings.
- Alex Dessoye placed third in the 400 at University Park (49.27), a season-best. Also posting a solid time in the 400 was Stefone Moore-Green, who won the event at the Bison Open and Multi and posted the third-fastest mark in the Patriot League this season (49.22). The senior, who played wide receiver for the Bison football team in the fall, also qualified for IC4As in the process.
- Bucknell holds four of the top ten spots in the Patriot League in the 400, with Moore-Green (3rd), Brendan Bodisch (5th), Steve Rizio (6th) and A. Dessoye (10th) all appearing on the list.
- Nicholas Marino currently ranks 54th in the pole vault on the NCAA performance list after his mark of 16-8.75 at the Gulden Invitational two weeks ago. The junior earned Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts for the second time this season.
- Jeff Brown ran the second-fastest time at Penn State in the qualifying round of the 60 (6.81), and continues to hold the top time in the Patriot League in the event with his school-record 6.78 set at the Bison Opener.
- Bucknell will compete at the Doug Raymond Invitational hosted by Kent State on Friday, Feb. 14- Saturday Feb. 15.
