Men's Track and Field Readies for Bucknell Tune-Up

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University men's track and field team will host one more meet at Gerhard Fieldhouse on Friday, the Bucknell Tune-Up, before the Patriot League Championships on February 29-March 1.

"We have a lot of different missions for this meet," said Head Coach Kevin Donner. "Some of our athletes will sit it out and train for leagues, while others are still trying to make the league lineup. Others will be just trying to tuneup for the League Meet and competing in an off event. Some of the field event athletes will just be trying to improve on their season-best, and others will just try to end their indoor seasons on a high note."

About the Bison
- Stefone Moore-Green continues to impress in the sprints, running Bucknell's fifth-fastest time in program history (48.38). Moore-Green has now registered a Bucknell top-ten time in three different events this season (60, 200, 400), and his time in the 400 now ranks in a tie for second in the Patriot League with John Finnegan of Navy.
- The distance medley relay team of Nick Pacelli, Sean Conway, Robert Dessoye, and Owen Chase placed first overall, qualifying for IC4As in the process (10:10.00).
- Owen Chase continued a strong several meets in placing second in the mil3 (4:15.59), one week after setting a new personal-best and qualifying for IC4As.
- Sean Conway led a Bucknell group that featured four runners in the top ten of the 800 in placing sixth (1:55.32). Joining Conway in the top ten in the field of 53 was Robert Dessoye (1:55.79), Dylan LoPresti (9th, 1:56.09), and Brett Zatlin (1:56.12).
- Nicholas Marino placed sixth in the pole vault (15-7.75), while Jaden Rouse had a solid mark in the triple jump in placing 11th overall (45-0.25) Rouse's mark ranks seventh in the Patriot League.
- At last year's Bucknell Tune-Up, Bobby Gablein posted a Bucknell top-ten time in the 60 (6.98), which ranks eighth in the Bucknell record books. Gablein also qualified for IC4As in the 200 on the day,
- Micah Sims took third in the long jump (22-2.5), while C.J. Falcioni was second in the weight throw (57-9).
