Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is currently 9-1 (6-1 Patriot League) after dispatching Boston College, 163.5-136.5 on Senior Day at Kinney Natatorium last week. Maddie Hartigan was a standout performer for the Bison, winning the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle races; in addition, she anchored the first-place 400 freestyle relay team.
• With a win over Lehigh on Saturday, Bucknell will reach the double digits in victories during a single season for the sixth time in program history. The Bison previously accomplished the feat in 1980-81 (11-2), 1984-85 (10-4), 1993-94 (10-1), 1994-95 (10-1) and 1997-1998 (11-2).
• In 2018-19, Bucknell finished dual competition with an impressive 8-1 (6-1 Patriot League) record. With the Bison's Senior Day triumph over rival Lehigh, they reached the eight-win threshold for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign, when they went 8-2 (6-0 Patriot League).
• Bucknell went on to place third (482 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and third (322 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships. The Bison's third-place showing at the Patriot League Championships was their best since 2015, when they were the runners-up; they were bolstered by eight medal-winning performances, including an individual title by Hartigan in the 1,650 freestyle.
• Hartigan (1st), Julie Byrne (1st), Maggie Wyngowski (1st) and Abigail Rosenberg (2nd) were Bucknell's 2019 All-Patriot League honorees.
• Of Bucknell's 2019 All-Patriot League selections, Byrne and Rosenberg were lost to graduation. The Bison also returned Emma Hadley, a 2017 All-Patriot League First Team and 2018 All-Patriot League Second Team honoree.
• Two school-record holders are on the 2019-20 roster: Hartigan (500 freestyle, 4:46.62) and Wyngowski (200 breaststroke, 2:14.54; 400 IM, 4:17.80).
• Returnees Emily Gorham (200 freestyle), Hadley (200 medley, 400 medley), Hartigan (800 freestyle), Katherine O'Shea (200 freestyle) and Wyngowski (200 medley) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• The program welcomed 10 newcomers in 2019-20. They hail from six different states: Pennsylvania (4), Connecticut (2), Florida, Maryland, New Jersey and New York.

• Lehigh placed fourth at the 2019 Patriot League Championships with 447 points. That season, the Mountain Hawks went 7-2 (4-1 Patriot League) in dual competition.
• Bucknell leads the all-time series with Lehigh, 30-10, and has won 11 of the past 12 meetings. The Mountain Hawks snapped a nine-meet losing streak to the Bison with their 166.5-133.5 victory at Kinney Natatorium on Jan. 21, 2017.
