LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team suffered a 220-79 defeat to Army West Point on Saturday afternoon at Kinney Natatorium.
The Bison (5-4, 4-3 Patriot League) were led by Leo Kuyl and Jack Rose. Kuyl won the 100 freestyle while Rose touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke.
A day before against Johns Hopkins, Kuyl won the 50 freestyle while Rose took the 100 backstroke crown. Both also teamed with Matt McGoey and Matt Mills for a first-place showing in the 200 freestyle relay.
The Black Knights, who have finished second behind Navy at the past seven Patriot League Championships, extended their winning streak over Bucknell to eight dual meets. They improved to 2-2-1 (1-1 Patriot League) on the season.
The Bison next host Boston College on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. Before that dual, their final at Kinney Natatorium of the season, they will recognize seniors McGoey and Michael Park.
