Men's Tennis Concludes Second Day of Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell men's tennis concluded the second day of the Bucknell Invitational with a pair of third place finishes, and a chance to grab two more on the final day of the tournament.
The freshmen showed up for Bucknell on day two, beginning with Chunyu Chen finishing third in the A singles bracket. Chenyu could be joined by fellow freshman Per Astrom following his matchup with Saint Francis' Andrew Teixeira in C singles tomorrow.
Competing against one another for third in the B singles bracket will be Bison sophomore Ryan Jurist and freshman Guillermo Torres. Torres also took home a third place finish in A doubles today, with Chen as his partner throughout the tournament.
Sophomore Cooper Bradshaw advanced to the A singles championship before retiring from the match.
The final day of the Invitational will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Varisty Tennis Courts, Located behind Gerhard Fieldhouse.
