Bison Take Top Singles Title on Final Day of Bucknell Invitational, Blank Dickinson in Dual

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men's tennis' Cooper Bradshaw took home the A singles championship title on the final day of the Bucknell Invitational. The Bison also had a pair of third-place finishes in the season-opening tournament. Later in the day, the Bison hosted Dickinson in a dual match and prevailed 7-0, winning every singles match in straight sets.
Bradshaw claimed a 6-2, 6-3 win over Jorge Sedeno Nieto of Niagara in the top singles bracket Sunday. The sophomore from Glen Ellen, Calif. won a doubles title at last year's Bucknell Invitational. Bradshaw reached the final round following a win over Darrel Harxhi of Niagara on Friday.
Freshman Chunyu Chen placed third after his Howard opponent retired. Guillermo Torres also grabbed a third place finish playing in the B singles bracket. Chen and Torres placed third in men's A doubles as well.
