Men's Tennis Collects Win Over Wagner at Temple Invite

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Men's tennis pulled out a 6-1 win over Wagner on the second day of the Temple Invite Saturday. The Bison now sit at 1-1 in the tournament, and will face the hosting Temple Owls on Sunday.
The Bison swept the Seahawks in doubles to earn the first point. Cooper Bradshaw and Chunyu Chen captured a 6-1 win, while Michael Owen and Ryan Jurist won 6-2. Dave Carvalho and Guillermo Torres won by default without an opponent.
In the number one singles flight, Cooper Bradshaw took Hans Ohrner to the tiebreaker and won 7-5, 6-3, 10-7 in the closest match of the day.
Jurist, Carvalho, and Owen all won their singles matchups as well, doing so in two sets each. Meanwhile, Torres was given the win in his singles match by default.
The Bison are now 2-1 in duals this fall. The team wraps up the weekend tomorrow with a final match against Temple.
