About the Bison
- The Bison previewed the Patriot League Championships course on Sept. 7 at Colgate, placing 4th of 7 at the Harry Lang Invite.
- The field featured four other Patriot League schools looking to get a preview of the course: Boston University, Lehigh, host Colgate, and Navy.
- Freshman Samuel Whittaker posted the highest finish for the Bison, taking 12th in the field of 84.
- The 12th-place finish was a strong start as Whittaker made his collegiate debut in that race.
- Brendan O'Toole (15th) and Evan Minor (16th), and fellow freshman Greg Eisenhower also took places in the top 20.
- The young lineup featured four freshmen at the meet, with Domenic Campagna and Noah Martin also competing.
- Several of the Bison's top runners were held out for the Harry Lang Invite, including seniors Drew Dorflinger, Brendan McGill, and Jake Stupak, as well as Connor McMenamin.
- Bucknell last ran a meet at Lock Haven in 2010, taking third in a field of five teams in one final tune up before the Patriot League Championships. Charles Murphy was the top Bison finisher, crossing the line in 10th.
- Bucknell will send a group of athletes to the Panorama Farms Invite hosted by the University of Virginia on Friday, Sept. 27.
