Kaitlin Salisbury Places First in Long Jump
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Kaitlin Salisbury took first place in the long jump (18-5 ¼) as Bucknell completed its final tune-up before ECACs this weekend at the Army Twilight Meet on Thursday evening.
Kasey Getkin followed up scoring in the Patriot League Outdoor Championships with a second-place finish in the javelin (124-1).
In the 800, Karly Forker (2:13.84) just missed a personal-best in placing 18th, while Patriot League runner-up Tia Tardy was 20th (2:15.15).
Madeleine Hunt placed 14th in the 1500 (4:45.96).
The Bison will return to action on Saturday at ECACs on the campus of Princeton University.
