Geffert Earns Fourth PL Pitcher of the Week Award of the Season

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell's Raeanne Geffert was selected as the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, earning the honor for the fourth time this season.
Geffert allowed just one run in 10 innings of work over two games of a doubleheader split with Boston University on Saturday. She went the distance while pitching Bucknell to a 4-1 win in the second game, giving up one run on five hits and no walks while striking out three.
The complete-game came immediately after Geffert pitched three scoreless innings of relief in the first contest of the doubleheader.
Bucknell earned the second seed in the Patriot League Tournament and will take on third-seeded Lehigh on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
