LEWISBURG, Pa.—The Bucknell University baseball team will play two midweek games to close nonconference play for the regular season.

About the Bison

Bucknell dropped all three games against Lehigh, with both games on Saturday coming down to the last at-bat.
Evan Madigan posted a strong series, compiling four hits in nine at-bats and knocking in two runs.
Peter Marren collected three hits, including his first multi-hit game of the season in game two versus the Mountain Hawks.
The Bison belted several long balls over the weekend, including two from junior Tyler Wincig, who is having an outstanding 2019 campaign.
Wincig leads the Patriot League in slugging (.639), is eighth in average (.320), and is second in home runs (8).
Wincig's eight home runs this season are one shy of tying Sam Clark, Dave Apollon, Russell Lindberg, and John Avanzino for the 11^th most in a single season.
Wincig has reached base safely in 15 straight games, while Bell has reached ten consecutive games. Dominic Toso has reached base safely in nine straight contests.
JohnPaul Bell also went yard for the Bison, his third home run of the year.
Dominic Toso posted his first home run of the season in game one on the first pitch he saw.
The knock was Toso's first home run since April 14, 2018 in a 6-0 win at Holy Cross.
The Bison have now had four different players homer this season, with Jared Drizin notching the other home run in the series against Army earlier this season.
Bell is now fifth in the Patriot League in batting average at .327, and has posted seven multiple-RBI games this year.
Opponents are hitting just .181 off of reliever Hunter Robichaux this season. He also leads the Bison in saves at two. Brenden Tuttle and Andrew Funovits have also posted a single save each in 2019.

Bucknell is 26-15 all-time against Mount St. Mary's, with the two teams last meeting on March 25, 2015, and 8-7 Bison win.
