Fiamoncini Earns Second Consecutive Weekly Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Maura Fiamoncini has earned the Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week Award for the second consecutive week after winning the javelin at the Raleigh Relays over the weekend.
Fiamoncini threw the javelin a distance of 166-5, defeating the next closest competitor in the field of 33 by nearly 13 feet.
Fiamoncini has now won both of her events in the two meets she has participated in during the outdoor season, and owns the top mark in the Patriot League as well as the 18th-best throw in the country to date.
Fiamoncini and the rest of the Bison squad will participate in the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va. on Thursday through Saturday.
