Harper Stewart Named Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa.—Harper Stewart has been named the Bison Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance in the heptathlon over the weekend at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Harper moved into sixth on Bucknell's all-time list in the event with a score of 4303. She bested second-place Amanda Aulenbach of Bloomsburg in the event by 26 points, and earned wins in the 800 (2:21.13), the high jump, and placed second in the long jump.
The senior from Fairport, N.Y. also picked up five points in the pentathlon at the Patriot League Indoor Championships to move into the sixth-highest mark in Bucknell history as well in that event.
Stewart and the rest of the Bison squad will host the Bucknell Team Challenge on Saturday, April 20.
