Women's Water Polo Set for Tough Stretch at LMU Invite

LEWISBURG, Pa.—The Bucknell University women's water polo team will continue its west coast trip with five games over three days.
The Bison will face Long Beach State on Thursday, before taking part in four games at Loyola Marymount University in the LMU Invite.

- Ally Furano is coming off of a solid week in which she was named CWPA Player of the Week for the second time this season after scoring 16 goals in four games against some of the Bison's toughest competition this season, with three opponents either ranked or receiving votes.
- Furano is now up to 72 goals in total this season to lead the Bison, while Emily Konishi ranks second on the team in goals to date with 46.
- The Bison's schedule doesn't get any easier, as they face two ranked schools in No. 12 Loyola Marymount and No. 18 San Jose State. The Bison will also face the No. 1 ranked team in Division III in Pomona-Pitzer.
- The Bison last went on a road trip this length in the 2017 season, when it also played in the Aztec Invite over the weekend as well as playing road contests at Pomona-Pitzer,Claremont Mud-Scripps, and at Long Beach State on Thursday.
- A. Furano has now topped the 100 point mark this season.
- Kali Hyham, A. Furano, Konishi, and Marcela Herrera are the only Bison to have played and started every game this season.
