• On Feb. 10, the Black Knights topped the Bison by winning four of the final five bouts. Drew Phipps upset No. 4 Rocco Caywood by a 7-3 decision; it was Phipps's second career victory over a nationally ranked wrestler and his first at 197 pounds.Â
• At Army West Point, David Campbell (133) and Matthew Kolonia (149) each pinned his opponent, with Campbell's pin being the first of his career. Hartman also picked up his fifth victory over a nationally ranked opponent with an 8-0 major decision over Lucas Weiland, who was ranked 20th by The Open Mat.
• For his performance last weekend, Phipps captured his second career Bison Athlete of the Week award. Last year, he was honored after knocking off No. 16 C.J. LaFragola of Brown, 6-4, in sudden victory overtime at 184 pounds.
• So far this season, the Bison have used 18 starters in dual competition. Three wrestlers have started every dual thus far: Hartman (157), Hollingshead (165) and Phipps (197).
