Men's Tennis Set for Four Matches in Three Days

About the Bison
• Bucknell is set for four matches in three days as it continues a tough road schedule to open the season. The Bison will play La Salle on Friday, Saint Joseph's on Saturday, and UConn and Sacred Heart on Sunday.
• The Bison are coming off a 4-3 win over Siena. The two-match weekend also included a 5-2 loss to Marist.
• Freshman Ryan Jurist went 2-0 in singles the last weekend Bucknell competed and was selected as the Patriot League Player of the Week.
• Jurist is 3-2 during the spring while playing matches on courts four, five, and six.
• Freshman Ethan Jacobs is also 3-2 during the spring, with all five matches being played in the top spot of the lineup. Drew Krantz also has a winning record (2-1) while competing on court six.
• Max McDonald and Andrei Vitiuc have been the team's top doubles pair, going 2-0.

• La Salle is 0-4 with losses to Fordham (5-2 score), Drexel (6-1), Morgan State (4-0), and George Washington (6-1). The Explorers won five matches last season.
• Saint Joseph's is 0-1 with a 6-1 loss at Navy. The Hawks took the doubles point thanks to wins by Andre Fick/Nathan Perrone on court one and Sam Sauter/Beekman Schaffer on court two.
• UConn is 5-4 after back-to-back wins over Sacred Heart (6-1) and Hofstra (4-3). John Michael Holtman is 5-4 on court two, while Justin Warren is 5-4 while playing primarily on court six.
• Sacred Heart is 0-5 with losses to Fairfield (4-3), Boston University (6-1), UConn (6-1), NJIT (6-1), and Fordham (5-2).
Series History with the Opponents
• Bucknell is unbeaten at 7-0 in the all-time series with La Salle. The teams first played in 1951. The Bison have posted a win over the Explorers in each of the past three seasons. McDonald is 2-0 in singles in those matches.
• The Bison have never lost to Saint Joseph's, posting an 18-0 record in a series that began in 1958.
• Bucknell is 1-0 against Connecticut, winning the only meeting in 2007.
• Sacred Heart and Bucknell will play for the first time.
