LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's swimming & diving team completed its second day at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday at Kinney Natatorium.

Jack Rose's performance in the 100 backstroke was a highlight for the Bison. The sophomore clocked a time of 50.31, the ninth fastest in school history, en route to a fifth-place showing.

Christian Stef also placed fifth in the 200 freestyle. Rose and Stef were joined in the 'A' finals by Sean Quinn, who went sixth in the 400 IM, and George Rump, who took eighth in the 100 breaststroke.

Bucknell's 800 freestyle relay team of Nate Romanowski, Alan Flower, Matt Rakovec and Garrett Kiesel placed sixth while its 200 medley relay squad of Nick Haddad, Rump, Romanowski and Matt Mills took eighth.

In addition, Haddad won the consolation finals of the 100 backstroke.

The Bison remain slotted in sixth, now with 558.5 points. Davidson (807.5), Rider (806) and Towson (718) comprise the top-three teams.

The Bucknell Invitational concludes tomorrow at Kinney Natatorium. The preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. while the finals are slated for 5 p.m.

Sixth Place:
400 IM – Sean Quinn (4:04.61)
800 freestyle relay – Nate Romanowski, Alan Flower, Matt Rakovec, Garrett Kiesel (6:56.02)

Eighth Place:
100 breaststroke – George Rump (58.22)
200 medley relay – Nick Haddad, George Rump, Nate Romanowski, Matt Mills (1:34.36)

Ninth Place:
100 backstroke – Nick Haddad (50.81)

Tenth Place:
100 breaststroke – Ryaan Hatoum (58.17)

Eleventh Place:
200 freestyle – Mitch Gavars (1:41.82)

Fourteenth Place:
400 IM - Alan Flower (4:09.11)

Fifteenth Place:
100 butterfly – Jacob Lubinski (50.98)

Sixteenth Place:
400 IM – Garrett Kiesel (4:10.94)
