• Four Bison - Ellie Mack, Abby Kapp, Tessa Brugler, and Ally Johnson - currently have double-digit scoring averages. All four scored in double-figures last time out vs. Drexel, which the Bison hadn't accomplished since last season's Patriot League semifinal game.Â
• Brugler was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week last week after recording back-to-back double-doubles at George Mason and vs. Drexel. Brugler was 9-of-11 shooting and 6-for-7 at the foul line at George Mason, totaling a career-high 24 points with 11 boards. She now has three double-doubles in the last five games and is second in the league with her .596 shooting average.
• Kapp has reached double-digit scoring seven times this season and has made a 3-pointer in each game since the season opener. Her 23 made threes are most in the league.
• Brugler is the only one to lead Bucknell in scoring in back-to-back games. She's led the team three times, Mack twice, Kapp twice, and Ally Johnson twice.Â
• The Bison have been the top free throw shooting team in the League through nine games. Five Bison are shooting better than .800, and the team's .762 is 33rd in the country.Â
• As a team, Bucknell is also second in field goal percentage, second in 3-point percentage, first in rebounding defense, and second in 3-point field goals made among Patriot League opponents.
About Saint Francis
• Saint Francis is 2-8 to begin the season, having collected a win over Stetson and one over Vermont in double-overtime. The Red Flash has faced challenging opponents through the first 10 games, including Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Florida Gulf Coast.
• Saint Francis' most recent defeat was to Liberty, who shot 48.3 percent and turned the Red Flash over 20 times.
• Saint Francis' scoring efforts have been led by Karson Swogger, who averages 11.9 per contest and has scored in double-figures during four of the last five. Swogger put up 29 points in a win over Stetson.
• Junior Haley Thomas and Swogger are the only two that have started all 10 games for Saint Francis. Thomas leads Saint Francis in steals and has scored in double-figures six times this season.
