• Last season, the Hawks finished with a 14-17 overall record and a 9-9 conference mark, advancing to their first MAAC semifinal game since the 2015-16 season.
• Monmouth was picked fifth in the MAAC preseason poll, one spot below Manhattan and just above Fairfield.Â
