About Monmouth
• Monmouth begins its 2019-20 season on Saturday against the Bison. It's the second consecutive season that the Hawks have opened against Bucknell.
• Last season, the Hawks finished with a 14-17 overall record and a 9-9 conference mark, advancing to their first MAAC semifinal game since the 2015-16 season.
• Monmouth was picked fifth in the MAAC preseason poll, one spot below Manhattan and just above Fairfield.
• Senior guard Seirra Green was named to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team, and sophomore Lucy Thomas was named to the Third Team.
• The Hawks were 7-8 when playing on the road last season.

Series History with Monmouth
• Bucknell defeated the Hawks in the season opener last year in New Jersey. It was the first time the two teams had faced one another since 2006.
