Volleyball Hits the Road for Matches at Holy Cross and Army West Point This Weekend

About the Bison
• Bucknell picked up its third Patriot League victory of the season last match against Loyola. At 14-10 overall, the Bison are now one win away from collecting the most victories in a season since 2006.
• Senior Sophie Bullard had a career day against Loyola last weekend, posting 23 kills and 14 digs for her 11th double-double of the season. Bullard also reached 1,000 career kills last weekend. She was an honorable mention for Patriot League Player of the Week.
• Setter Kelsey O'Loughlin was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week this week for a sixth time. The freshman surpassed 50 assists for a second time this season in the win over Loyola and posted double-digit digs for the 11th time. O'Loughlin has a hitting percentage of .325 for the season.
• Senior Mimi Richards, who became Bucknell's all-time leader in block assists earlier this season, added six more to her total last weekend, including five against Loyola. Richards is currently third in the league with 1.11 blocks per set and second with 97 total.
• Libero Brooke Stark is fifth in the Patriot League with 4.28 digs per set. The senior has reached double-digit digs in each of the last five matches and 17 times overall this season.
• The Bison posted their best hitting percentage of the season last match with a .354. At .205 for the season, the Bison rank sixth among Patriot League teams.
Scouting Holy Cross
• The Crusaders enter the weekend on a 13-match losing skid and are still in search of their first Patriot League victory of the season.
• Holy Cross took Colgate to five sets last weekend before eventually falling to the Raiders. It was the team's third five-setter in league play and seventh overall this season.
• The Crusaders' kills leader is freshman Gracyn Benck, who totals 205 this season. Benck has hit double-digit kills in eight matches, including a season-high 18 against Providence.
• Sophie Vanseveren is fourth in the league with 4.32 digs per set. Vanseveren had a season-high 29 digs in the first match against Bucknell this season. Vanseveren's younger sister, Emma, has 28 digs this year.
• As a team, the Crusaders are fifth in the league with 14.91 digs per set.
Series History with Holy Cross
• Bucknell leads the all-time series 38-18 against Holy Cross, including a five-set win back on Oct. 12.
• Sophie Bullard led the match with 19 kills last time the two teams faced. Richards posted a season-high 10 total blocks.
Scouting Army
• Army is fourth in the Patriot League following a 3-1 win over Holy Cross last weekend. Prior to Saturday's victory, the Black Knights had dropped three in a row.
• Army has been the best team in the league at limiting opponents' hitting percentages. The team has allowed just a .153 percentage to opponents, while posting a .208 for the season themselves.
• Army has also been one of the best blocking teams in the league this season. Army averages 2.37 blocks per set, totaling 11 last time it faced Bucknell. The Black Knights' blocking efforts are led by Monica Eckford, who records over half of the team's blocks. Army's Emmy Barnhorst also is among the top-10 in the league.
• The Black Knights are also second best in the league in digs, averaging 16.73 per set. Libero Ana Oglivie has 395 digs on the year, recordings 16 against the bison in October.
Series History with Army
• Army holds a 40-14 advantage in all-time matches with the Bison. Bucknell's last win came during the 2015 season.
• Anna Carroll and Bullard each posted double-digit digs, and Lisa Zoch led the Bison with 15 digs last time the two teams faced.

• Bucknell takes on Navy at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The Bison then host Colgate on Saturday, Nov. 16 in the final match of the regular season.
