About Bucknell
• Bucknell is 2-2 to begin the season for a third straight year. The Bison fell 76-69 at Quinnipiac Saturday in their second road loss this season. The Bobcats jumped out to an early lead in the first half with six made 3-pointers. Bucknell came back to pull within four late.
• Ellie Mack scored a career-high 33 points on 14-of-23 shooting against the Bobcats. Mack scored 21 of those points in the second half and sank three from beyond the arc. She surpassed her previous high of 29, which she scored against Army last season. Mack is now second in the Patriot League in points per game.
• Bucknell is second in the Patriot League in field goal percentage (.436). The Bison have shot over 42 percent in each of the last three contests and have been above 40 percent on 3-pointers twice.
• Bucknell has had three different scoring leaders (Mack, A. Johnson, Kapp) and three different rebounding leaders (Mack, A. Johnson, Kapp) through four games this season.Â
• Bucknell has shared the ball throughout the early parts of the season, as three different Bison are averaging double-digit scoring. Joining Mack in the category is Ally Johnson, who scored a career-high 17 points in the win over St. Bonaventure, and Abby Kapp, who leads the Bison with 10 made 3-pointers this season. Kapp has hit at least two from beyond the arc in each of the last three games.

 • Temple is off to a 3-2 start for a second consecutive season. The Owls' two losses are against Saint Joseph's and No. 4 UConn.
• The Owls were picked to finish sixth in the American after going 11-19 (7-9 AAC) last season. The Owls fell to No. 11 Memphis in the first round of the AAC tournament in 2019.
• The Owls are led by head coach Tonya Cardoza, who's the winningest coach in program history with a 211-147 record. Cardoza won an AAC Coach of the Year award in 2017 after leading the Owls to a 24-8 (13-3 AAC) record.
• Temple junior Mia Davis was unanimously named to the AAC Preseason First Team. Davis leads the Owls in scoring (21.8), rebounding (9.2), and field goal percentage (.470). Davis scored a season-high 29 points against Saint Joseph's. Davis also notched her 1,000th career point last game against UConn. She becomes the 25th player in program history to reach 1,000.
• Temple is among the best 3-point shooting teams in the AAC. That effort is led by sophomore Marissa Mackins, who's tied for first in the conference with 16 made threes.Â
• Along with 3-point shooting, Temple is in the AAC's top-5 in scoring offense, field goal percentage, and rebounding margin.
• Temple has a pair of dynamic freshmen that have had big impacts on the Owls' season already. Asonah Alexander leads the Owls in steals and is second on the team in assists. Rayniah Walker is shooting .429 this season and made a pair of key 3-pointers in the Owls' win over Xavier.

• Bucknell and Temple last faced 26 years ago at the Sun & Fun Invitational in Miami, Fla.
• Temple outscored the Bison 67-53, helped by a 21-point, 17-rebound effort from Margarete Rougier.
