About the Bison
• Bucknell is 13-9 after a pair of losses to Lafayette and Lehigh last weekend. This weekend, the Bison will face American and Loyola (Md.). The Bison lost to Loyola in five sets back on Oct. 4, then suffered a 3-0 loss at American.
• The Bison rank fourth in the Patriot League in blocks this season with 2.06 per set. Leading the Bison in that category is Mimi Richards, who has 89 on the season and is third in the league.
• The Bison are led by Sophie Bullard offensively. The senior has a team-high 238 kills and recorded her 10th double-double of the season last match against Lehigh.
• Freshman Kelsey O'Loughlin leads the team with 9.67 assists per set, which is also third in the league. O'Loughlin has been named the PL Rookie of the Week five times this season.
• Libero Brooke Stark had a combined 22 digs last weekend, and now has double-digit digs in 15 matches. Stark ranks third on Bucknell's all-time digs list.
• As a team, the Bison's hitting percentage is just north of .200. They've also held opponents to .189 for the season.
Scouting American
• American is currently tied for first in Patriot League standings with a 9-1 league record. The Eagles have won nine in a row after opening league play with a 3-1 loss to Colgate. The Eagles swept Army and Colgate last weekend.
• The Eagles are leading the Patriot League in hitting percentage (.257), kills per set (13.36), and service aces per set (1.95). American also ranks second in opponent hitting percentage (.176).
•American's kills leader is junior Helena Elbaek. Elbaek, who posted 11 kills against the Bison last time out, is sixth in the league with 3.37 per set.
• Junior Olivia Wassner sits atop the league in service aces, recording 0.62 per set. Second on the list is American's Chiara Bosetti.
• Three of American's regular starters have season hitting percentages above .300, while two others are above .220.
Series History with American
• American leads the all-time series 47-1.
• The two teams faced back on Oct. 5. Anna Carroll led the Bison with nine kills in the 3-0 loss.
Scouting Loyola
• Loyola is currently sixth in the standings with an 11-13 overall record and a 4-6 record in league play. The Greyhounds had lost five matches in a row prior to Saturday's 3-1 win over Holy Cross.
• Loyola is currently leading the league in assists per set (12.66) and digs per set (17.38). They also rank second in kills with 13.32 per set.
• They Greyhounds have two players with over 300 kills in Ann Ernst and Abby Hamilton. Ernst's 3.99 kills per set are best in the Patriot League.
• Sophomore libero Katie Forsythe leads the league in digs this season. Forsythe broke the Patriot League's single-game digs record with 46 in a win over Holy Cross last week, earning Player of the Week recognition. Forsythe totaled 121 digs in three matches last week.
Series History with Loyola
• Bucknell leads the all-time series 15-10 over the Greyhounds.
• Three Bison recorded double-digit kills in the 3-2 loss in October. Richards led the way with 13.

• The Bison travel to Holy Cross and Army for the final road trip on the schedule this season. The Holy Cross match is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
