About the Bison
• Bucknell moved to 13-5 on the season and earned a second Patriot League win with a 3-2 defeat of Holy Cross on Saturday. The Bison also suffered a 3-1 loss to Army on Friday.
• With the 1-1 weekend, the Bison remain in seventh place in Patriot League standings. Navy and Colgate are the only two teams the Bison have yet to face on the schedule.
• Sophie Bullard remains the Bison's kills leader after two strong showings over the weekend. Bullard posted 14 kills against Army, then a season-high 19 kills in the win over the Crusaders. The senior also recorded her eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season. Bullard was an honorable mention for Player of the Week this week.
• Freshman Kelsey O'Loughlin was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday for a fifth time this season. O'Loughlin contributed 70 assists and 32 digs in the Bison's two matches over the weekend. She also kept her hitting percentage above .365 in both matches while tallying 14 kills.
• With 18 digs over the weekend, senior Libero Brooke Stark took over third place on the Bison's all-time digs list.
• Senior Mimi Richards recorded nine block assists in the Bison's two matches over the weekend, making her the school's all-time leader in the category with 323 for her career. Richards is also four blocks away from becoming the third all-time leader in total blocks.
• As a team, the Bison have held their opponents to a .178 hitting percentage, which is second-best in the Patriot League. The team also allows the fewest service aces per set.
Scouting Navy
• Navy is fourth in the Patriot League standings after a 3-1 win over Loyola on Friday and a 3-2 loss to American on Saturday. The Midshipmen are now 3-2 in the league and 8-8 overall on the season.
• Navy has swept two of its opponents in league play and five overall on the season.
• Junior outside hitters Maddie Sgattoni and Amanda Montag have led the Midshipmen in kills throughout the season. Each averages over three kills per set and rank in the top 10 for service aces in the league.
• Senior Sofia Hruby has 47 of the Mids' 92 total blocks this season. Hruby is also fourth on the team with 84 kills.
• Sophomore Avery Stonewell's .257 hitting percentage is the best among Navy's starters. Avery is third on the roster with 159 total kills.
Series History with Navy
• Navy leads the all-time series 33-22 dating back to 1981. The Bison's last win was back in 2015.
• Mimi Richards totaled 18 kills in the two matches against the Midshipmen last season, while Bullard totaled 16.
Scouting Colgate
• The Raiders currently sit in the top spot of the Patriot League standings with a perfect 6-0 record in league play. Colgate has swept three of its league opponents and five overall on the season.
• Colgate is second in the league in both hitting percentage (.233) and blocks per set (2.27), sitting just behind Army in both of those categories.
• Colgate's Alli Lowe leads the league with 3.91 kills per set. The junior has posted 20 or more kills four times this season, including 31 against Sacred Heart. Meanwhile, senior Alex Stein has the most overall kills on the Raiders' roster with 262.
• Sophomore setter Julia Kurowski currently leads the league in assists per set with 10.15. Kurowski has provided 50 or more assists five times, including a season-high 53 last match at Lafayette.
• Colgate is among the best blocking teams in the league. The team averages 2.27 per set, half of which have come from sophomore Hailey Horn-Bostel.
Series History with Colgate
• Colgate leads 42-23 in the all-time series, with Bucknell's last win coming in 2017.
• Last time these two teams faced, Bullard recorded 12 kills and 14 digs while Richards tallied three blocks. Stark also had a 20-dig performance in that match.

• Following Saturday's match at Colgate, the Bison play away matches at Lafayette and Lehigh on Oct. 25 and 26. The Bison defeated Lafayette 3-1 back in Sept. after losing to Lehigh in the same weekend.
