Salisbury Tabbed as Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa.—Katilin Salisbury has been tabbed as the Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after finishing second in the triple jump at the Penn State National Open on Friday, Jan. 25.
Salisbury earned the honor for the second straight week after leaping a new personal-best of 40-3 ¼ in the triple jump, a mark that is now third on Bucknell's all-time list.
Salisbury also excelled on the track, running a personal-best in the 200 on Saturday with a time of 24.84 that qualified her for ECACs in that event. Salisbury has now qualified for four ECAC events to date this season.
The junior from Hawthorne, N.J. has won the Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week award three times and two consecutive weeks. Salisbury holds the top marks in the Patriot League in the 60, the long jump, and the triple jump and is third in the 200.
Salisbury and the rest of the Bucknell track and field team will travel to Boston, Mass. on Saturday to take part in the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational.
