About the Bison
• Bucknell is 5-6 after dropping a pair of matches to tough opponents from the Mid-American Conference last weekend. The Bison looked good against Toledo, winning the first two sets before falling 3-2, and then lost to Akron 3-0 later in the day.
• Senior Blake Buchholz was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Zips Invitational, her first honor of the season.
• Junior Mimi Richards has won three All-Tournament honors this season. Alexa Bonanno and Bridgette Holland have won one apiece.
• Bucknell was picked to finish sixth in the Patriot League in a poll of coaches and sports information directors prior to the season.
• The Bison have finished 8-8 in league play in two of the past three seasons. They have defeated seven of the other eight league teams at least once during that stretch.
• Bucknell has the third best overall record in the conference. Only Lehigh (11-1) and Navy (8-5) have a better mark.

• The Mids have played a tough non-conference schedule, including matches against Penn State, Alabama, Villanova, and Denver.
• Navy was picked third in the Patriot League Preseason Poll. Senior setter Patricia Mattingly and senior middle blocker Katie Patrick were voted to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team.
