Bison Notes
- Bucknell picked up another MAWPC East win last Saturday evening at Fordham to improve to 9-1 in conference matches this season.
- Bucknell has two MAWPC East games remaining on the docket, and leads by three games in the standings over George Washington and Wagner. George Washington has four conference games left, while Wagner has three.Â
- Bucknell will look to control its own destiny and extend its 22-game home winning streak at Kinney Natatorium.Â
- Two wins by Bucknell would clinch the No. 1 seed outright for the upcoming MAWPC Championships hosted by Fordham University.
- George Washington could potentially catch the Bison this weekend if results go their way. Â
- GW could either tie or pass the Bison if it wins all four of its matchups and Bucknell goes 1-1, or if the Colonials win three out of their last four and Bucknell goes 0-2 to close the season. Â
- If George Washington and Bucknell finish tied in the standings, the Colonials would hold the tiebreaker based on goal differential in the two matchups between the teams this season. Â
- In the win against Fordham, Rade Joksimovic continued his stellar season by leading all point scorers with four goals and three assists. Jack Lewis added four goals while Marko Djordjevic scored three on the day. Â
- The four goals for Lewis matched his season high set against Salem International on Sept. 16.Â
- Cooper Dolan picked up three assists for Bucknell in the win, the third time he has managed three or more assists in a game this season.Â
- Joksimovic has scored at least four goals in 14 of Bucknell's 24 matches this season.
- Six different Bison players picked up a steal against Fordham.  Â
- The Bison converted nearly 60 percent of their shots in the matchup against Fordham (14-for-24).Â
- The last time the Bison converted 60 percent of their shots into goals was an Oct. 6 matchup against La Salle (22-for-36).Â
- Bucknell's best conversion rate this season was a Sept. 15 matchup against Washington & Jefferson in which it put away 66.7 percent of its shots. (24-for-36).Â
- The Bison have continued to excel starting the game, outscoring the Rams 5-2 in the first period on Saturday.Â
- Bucknell has now outscored its opponents, 86-48, in the first period this season for a +38 goal differential, 14 goals higher than the next highest total for a period this season.Â
- Joksimovic needs just four points to reach the 500-point milestone in his career.      Â
- Djordjevic reached the 100-point mark in a season for the first time in his career after picking up six points on Saturday.Â
- Djordjevic needs to start one more game to have started 100 career matches for Bucknell.
- Djordjevic's 99 starts rank in a tie for sixth for a Bucknell player since 2001.   Â
- Cooper Dolan is five goals shy of 100 career tallies for the Orange and Blue.Â
- Logan Schofield is two ejections drawn away from 150 for his career.
