Bucknell at a Glance
• Bucknell is currently 2-0 (1-0 Patriot League) on the season after topping Patriot League rival Boston University, 151-148, and A-10 dynasty Richmond, 176-123, on Oct. 13. The Bison used 18 top-three finishes to down the Terriers and Spiders. Maddie Hartigan and Maggie Wyngowski combined for six of them, including four individual titles, while Julie Byrne (200 backstroke), Emma Hadley (100 backstroke) and Abigail Rosenberg (50 freestyle) also raced to first-place finishes.
• In 2017-18, the Bison went 6-3 (4-2 Patriot League) in dual meets. They posted their most overall and conference wins since 2014-15, when they went 7-4 (4-3 Patriot League).
• Bucknell went on to place fourth (423 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and third (309 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• Wyngowski (1st), Julianna Foss (1st), Hadley (2nd) and Lindsay Smalec (2nd) were Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League honorees. In addition, Wyngowski became the second Bison to be named the Rookie of the Patriot League Championships.
• Of Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League selections, only Foss was lost to graduation. The Bison also returned 2017 All-Patriot League picks Rosenberg (1st), Hadley (1st) and Byrne (2nd).
• Two school-record holders are on the 2018-19 roster: Rosenberg (100 freestyle, 50.42; 200 freestyle, 1:48.29) and Wyngowski (200 breaststroke, 2:14.98; 400 IM, 4:17.80).
• Returnees Byrne (200 medley), Emily Gorham (200 freestyle, 800 freestyle), Hadley (400 medley), Smalec (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) and Rosenberg (400 medley, 400 freestyle, 800 freestyle) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• The program welcomed 11 newcomers in 2018-19. They hail from nine different states: Pennsylvania (3), Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia.

Bison Host Reception for Homecoming
• Following their Homecoming meet against the Blue Jays, the Bison will host a reception for parents, alumni and friends of the program in the McGee Room.
Johns Hopkins at a Glance/Series History
• Johns Hopkins is currently 0-2 on the season after being downed by Delaware (126-161) and UMBC (124-161) on Oct. 6. The Blue Jays will face Navy, Towson and William & Mary the afternoon before they take on the Bison.
• Johns Hopkins placed fifth at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships with 228 points. Eleven Blue Jays combined to capture 29 All-America laurels.
• Johns Hopkins earned bronze medals in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay at the 2018 NCAA championship meet.
• Five of Johns Hopkins's seven top-five finishes at the NCAA Division III Championships have come in the past seven seasons.
• This will be the first meeting between the Bison and Blue Jays.
A Look Ahead
• After having a week off, Bucknell returns to Kinney Natatorium on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 12 p.m. for a quad meet against Patriot League foes American, Lafayette and Navy.
