About the Bison/Last Time Out

Bucknell is set to host its fourth meet of the season and make its second visit to Penn State.
The Bison return to action after winning the team title at the Gulden Invitational, earning five first-place finishes.
Kaitlin Salisbury won the long jump 18-9 ¼, while placing third in the triple jump (36-9 ½) and fourth in the 60 (7.83). Her performance in the long jump earned her an ECAC qualifying standard.
Jenna Farmer picked up her first win of the year, winning the mile in 5:00.53. She qualified for ECAC's.
Jennifer Dietrich won the 400m dash (57.89) and finished second in the 200m dash (26.23). Rebecca Rooney placed third in the event (59.74).
Lauren Hudson placed first in the high jump, clearing (5-5 ¾).
Molly Montalvo was runner-up in the weight throw with an ECAC-qualifying toss of 54-01 ¾. She finished second in the event and her performance was a top-10 program mark.
The 4X800 relay team of Carli Lucke, Rebecca Rooney, Tiara Tardy, and Dietrich recorded a first-place finish, clocking in at 3:57.10.

Carly Reiner won the triple jump in a field of 26 participants
Fitzgerald was the runner-up in the 1,000m, while Lauren Hudson finished second in the high jump.
Thomson (mile), Colleen Buckley (800m) and Elyse Pettaway (200m,400m) earned top-five finishes in their respective events.

Last Year at Penn State National

Emma Harris, Sarah Chandler and Christine Bendzinski were apart of a distance medley relay team that set the school record (11:34.61).
The Bison earned ECAC-qualifying marks in the 1000m, mile, 5000m, 4X400 relay and the shot put.

"Although we are splitting up our team for the Bison Open & Multi and Penn State Open meets, we are not taking as many people as usual to Penn State due to the factthat we are hosting the league championships in three weeks and getting on a banked track is not as critical this year. We do have some people going to Penn State who will see some great regional type competition and will be challenged. The meet at home is large with a lot of division II & III competition and the size of the meet will assure good competition in each event. Being three weeks out from leagues, we have to start focusing on times and distances to set ourselves up for the good heats and flights at leagues."
