Men's Swim and Dive Bests Loyola, 165-117

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell won all 11 races in which it had swimmers entered while posting a 165-117 win over Loyola in a Patriot League men's swimming and diving meet at Kinney Natatorium on Friday. The Bison improved to 3-4 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Eight Bison swimmers combined for 10 first-place finishes in individual races, led by Jack Robinson with two.
Robinson's wins came in the 100 back and 100 free. In the freestyle event, he took first in 47.30, his fastest time of the year in that event. He was followed by teammates Jimmy Rush and Jack Rogers.
Denver Freeman had the fastest time in both butterfly events. He touched the wall first while swimming as exhibition in the 100 fly with a personal-best time of 51.54, edging teammate Matt McGoey as the Bison had the four fasest times. Freeman finished first was followed by Mitch Buccalo in the 200 fly.
Adding individual wins for Bucknell were Sam Rutan (1000 free), Louis Behnen (200 free), Chadd Cummings (100 breast), McGoey (50 free), Chris Devlin (200 back), Sam Mackie (200 breast),and Vince Filippini (500 free).
Behnen had the fastest time in two events, touching the wall first while swimming as exhibition in the 200 IM.
Devlin, Cummings, James Elmendorf, and Charlie McFarland teamed up to win the 200 medley relay. Competing as exhibition, Elmendorf, Will Kinsella, Rush, and Mackie had the fastest time in the 400 free relay.
Additional runner-up finishes for the Bison included Sean Lyons (1000 free), Devlin (200 free), Elmendorf (200 back), Tom Gannon (200 breast), and Quinn Egan (500 free).
The Bison are back at Kinney Natatorium on Saturday when they host Army West Point at 1 p.m.
