Men's Golf Takes Third at Patriot Spring Intercollegiate

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The Bison men's golf team finished in third place in a four-team, 36-hole get-together at PGA National after posting a final-round 315 on Tuesday. Freshman Jubal Early paced Bucknell's five-man starting lineup with a 3-over-par 75, while sophomore Daniel Levin, playing as an individual shot 74 on the Estates Course.
Early and Levin both made four birdies in their rounds. Early was even-par at the turn, while Levin was even on the back nine.
Rounding out Bucknell's counting scores were D.J. Magee with a 77, John Edler with a 79, Connor O'Brien with an 84, and Ashton Radvansky with a 90.
Navy won the competition with a 36-hole total of 614, followed by Lehigh at 618, Bucknell at 626, and UMass Lowell with a 665.
Lehigh's Billy Johns and Navy's Matt Starobin and Connor Tallman all finished in a share of the individual lead with 147. Levin was solo fourth at 151.
Bucknell will be back in tournament action on March 28-29 at Villanova's Wildcat Invitational at White Manor Country Club.
