MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Bucknell hit four home runs in a 7-4 win over Cornell on Sunday in the last of four games over three days in Myrtle Beach. The Bison went 3-1 while playing two games against the Big Red and two against Brown.

Bucknell had 10 hits in the game, including a 3-for-4 day from senior Cydnee Sanders, who also added a walk. Junior Amanda Fazio singled twice and drove in a run, while Martinez added a single.
Fazio went the distance in the circle, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk. She struck out seven batters on the way to her seventh win of the season.
Cox broke a scoreless tie with her solo shot in the second inning. Cornell took a 3-2 lead after four innings before Bucknell pulled ahead with four runs in the fifth, including homers by Almond and Zahn.
Bucknell returns to action when it travels to Winter Haven, Florida for 10 games from March 8-13. Opponents on the schedule include Presbyterian, Florida A&M, Rider, Creighton, Niagara, Saint Peter's, Albany and Hampton.
The Bison are 10-6, a large improvement from last season when they didn't reach the 10-win mark until the 23rd game of the year.
