Bybel Named Patriot League Men's Tennis Player of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior Nick Bybel (Lancaster, Pa./Hilton Head Christian Academy (S.C.)) has been named the Patriot League's Corvias Male Tennis Player of the Week after going a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles play last week.
Playing at No. 1 singles, Bybel notched wins against Saint Francis and Duquesne on back-to-back days. He recorded his first win in three tries against the Dukes' Rich Robbie, earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Bybel teamed with sophomore Bryan Adams for a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles. The duo cruised to an 8-1 win against Saint Francis, and prevailed 6-4 in a shortened match against the Dukes.
The Bison are off this weekend, but will return to the courts with a busy schedule on their upcoming trip to Orlando. They are set to play five matches from March 9-12.
