PRINCETON, N.J. -- Lindsay Dodovich closed with a team-best 81, and the Bucknell women's golf team moved up a spot to finish in a tie for 11th place at the Princeton Invitational, which wrapped up Sunday in tough scoring conditions at Springdale Golf Club.
Bucknell posted a 334 total on Sunday after a first-round 331. The tournament was shortened from 54 to 36 holes after Saturday's morning round was washed out. With a 665 composite, the Bison finished in a three-way tie for 11th alongside Seton Hall and Lehigh. The other Patriot League team in the field, Navy, finished 14th at 667.
All seven Ivy League teams were in the field, and it was Harvard coming from 12 shots behind at the start of the day to leapfrog host Princeton for the team title. After closing with a 298, the Crimson edged Princeton by a single stroke, 616-617. Columbia was third at 623.
In addition to Dodovich's 81, Jen Lee and Graysen Bright both shot 84, Katie Childers carded an 85, and Emily Larson finished with an 86.
Jacquelyn Eleey from sixth-place Georgetown won the individual title at 5-over-par 149. Courtney Hooton of Harvard and Tenley Shield of Princeton were three shots back.
The Bison will be back in action on Oct. 19-20, when they close out the fall schedule at the Dayton Invitational at NCR Country Club.
