Bybel Cracks Year's First ITA National Rankings

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior Nick Bybel's outstanding fall season did not go unnoticed as the Bucknell men's tennis player received a No. 114 ranking in the year's first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's National Singles Rankings.
In addition to the national ranking, Bybel (Lancaster, Pa,/Hilton Head Christian Academy) is listed ninth in the Atlantic Region. Only four schools are represented by the eight players in front of him, including three each from ACC schools Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Bybel went 16-2 during the fall season, winning titles while competing in the top flight at the Bucknell Tournament, Saint Joseph's Fall Invitational and the UVA Fall Classic. His only losses on the year came at the ITA All-American Championships and the Mid-Atlantic Regionals.
Bybel is 64-20 during his career with the Bison. The 64 wins rank fourth on the program's all-time list and are just 12 shy of the record set by Ira Reibeisen (2004-08).
