Women's Golf in 10th at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell's new-look women's golf team put up rounds of 326 and 332 on day one of the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday, and the Bison sit in 10th place with 18 holes still to come on Sunday. Junior Jen Lee is Bucknell's low player after 36 holes after carding rounds of 80 and 82.
Rutgers shot 300-301 for a 601 total and has a five-stroke lead over Seton Hall. Defending champion William & Mary is third at 619, and Columbia (621) and Radford (635) round out the top five.
Lee made three birdies on the day and is tied for 31st place with a 162 composite. Also for the Bison, sophomore Emily Larson turned in rounds of 82-81, freshman Lindsay Dodovich shot 82-82 in her collegiate debut, senior Emily Timmons shot 82-89, and sophomore Callie Nelson shot 87-87.
Sophomore Nicole Mischler (86-82) and junior Meghan Garanich (88-92) played as individuals for Bucknell.
Emily Mills of Rutgers opened the day with an even-par 70, and after a second-round 76 she is the individual leader by two strokes over William & Mary's Alessandra Liu and Columbia's Camilla Vik.
