Adding to the semifinal competition, freshman Daniel Wright is set to play Saint Joseph's Tristan Boustany. His classmate, William Szamosszegi, is hoping to end his first collegiate tournament with a Flight 4 singles title, so far boasting an overall record of 3-0 heading into the semifinals.
In doubles, senior Octavio Canibe and freshman teammate Ben Gerber defeated a duo from Drexel and will face Saint Joseph's in the semifinals. They will compete at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Wright and Bryan Adams fell just short of the next round of Flight 1 doubles, as did Szamosszegi and freshman Timber Erskine. Adams, however, moved on to the semifinal round in singles after defeating an opponent from Drexel, 6-2, 6-4.
