Larson's 77 Leads Bison on Day 2 at Kingsmill

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Sophomore Emily Larson carded a career-best 77 to lead the Bucknell women's golf team in round two of the William & Mary Invitational at the Kingsmill Resort. The Bison posted a 329 team score, two shots better than their first-round total.
Larson's 5-over-par 77 followed a first-round 80. She is the low Bison at 157 total, which puts her in a tie for 39th place. Freshman Lindsay Dodovich logged her second straight 82, sophomore Nicole Mischler shot 84, and sophomore Callie Nelson and junior Jen Lee both carded 86s.
Led by a 5-under 67 from individual leader Heather Munzo, Elon compiled a tournament-best 285 on Monday and now has a 19-stroke lead over second-place Morehead State. William & Mary is in third, followed by Towson and Seton Hall in a tie for fourth. Bucknell is in 13th place with 18 holes still to play on Tuesday.
