Doubles Play Concludes at Fall Classic, Men's Tennis Begins Singles Play Saturday

In Red Doubles, sophomore Bryan Adams and freshman Daniel Wright won their first match over Tanner Baine and Daniel Guiterrez of George Washington, 8-5. In the next round of play, Adams and Wright fell short to James Madison's Maxi Branth and Brett Moorhead, 8-6.
Octavio Canibe and Ben Gerber were defeated in White Doubles by a duo from Norfolk State, 8-2. The Bucknell duo still holds an impressive 10-2 record as a doubles team.
In Orange Doubles, junior Nick Bybel and freshman Maxwell Kane lost to UMBC's Alex Drean and Daniel Gray, 8-5. Bybel and Kane were on a five-game win streak coming into this tournament, and their record now sits at 7-2.
Match play at the Virginia Fall Classic is set to continue at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4.
