Burke took a close match against Reibeisen in the Flight C finals, winning 7-5, 6-4. Both Bison breezed through to the finals as the closest set either had in their first two matches was 6-3.
Jonathan DeFrancesch had a chance to give Bucknell two bracket winners as he was in the finals of Flight B on Sunday. He took the first set 6-0 against Greg Olesnycky of Loyola (Md.), but dropped the second 6-4 and lost the third-set tiebreaker 10-5.
Bernstein's consolation finals victory was a hard-earned one over Daniel Nino of Coppin State. Bernstein posted a 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory to claim fifth in the bracket.
Bernstein and DeFrancesch teamed up in the consolation finals of Flight A doubles, but dropped an 8-6 decision to Austin Blake and Justin Olexa of host Mount St. Mary's.
The Bison also had competitors at this weekend's Princeton Invitational, but did not have anyone advance to Sunday's finals matches.
Bucknell will be in action next weekend at the USTA Tournament in Flushing, N.Y. The event runs Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22.
