Bucknell Women's Rowing Places League-Best 34 on PL Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - For the fourth consecutive year the Bucknell women's rowing team led the Patriot League in number of Academic Honor Roll selections. The Bison had 34 student-athletes recognized, accounting for nearly one-third of the overall total of 113.

Navy ranked second in number of Academic Honor Roll selections with 18, while Colgate and Holy Cross had 17 apiece.

Bucknell's team grade-point average last semester was a stellar 3.29, and four rowers posted perfect 4.0 GPAs: Margo Boyd, Emily Gladstone, Ashley Rooney and Julia Steen.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
