Bucknell Men's Golf Finishes 12th at Lafayette Invitational

EASTON, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's golf team shot 315 on Monday, one stroke better than its first-round score, and finished in 12th place at the Lafayette Invitational at Northampton Country Club. Zach Pogust led the Bison in the final round with a 77.
Nick Geissler shot 78 and Jon Hartman had a 79 for the Bison. Thomas Walter added an 81, and Billy Wright, Bucknell's round-one leader with a 76, finished with an 82.
Paced by a 69 from Harley Abrams, Lehigh closed with a 294 team score to win the team title by seven shots over Drexel.
Christopher Crawford of Drexel shot a 1-under-par 143 over 36 holes to claim medalist honors. Monte Mullen of Central Connecticut took second at 144.
Bucknell has two tournaments remaining prior to the Patriot League Championship, which will be held at Saucon Valley CC on Apr. 27-28. The Bison will be at the Manor Intercollegiate in Farmville, Va. on Apr. 12-13 and at the Navy Invitational on Apr. 20-21.
