Wilcox Leads Bison Women's Golf on Final Day at Seahawk Classic

WALLACE, N.C. -- Bridget Wilcox carded a 79 to lead the Bucknell women's golf team in the final round of the UNCW Seahawk Classic on Sunday at River Landing GC. The Bison compiled a 333 team score and finished the tournament in 13th place.
Wilcox was the low Bucknell player in all three rounds, and her 240 total led the squad by 13 shots. Also for the Bison on Sunday, Kasha Scott shot 83, Emily Timmons 85, Meghan Garanich 86 and Jen Lee 91.
Old Dominion won the team title with a 917 total, including a 301 on Sunday. Georgia State finished second with a 919, followed by UNC Greensboro (921), UNC Wilmington (922) and Princeton (923).
Fanny Cnops of UNCG shot 74-72-72 to claim the individual title. Elizabeth Haycock of ODU was two shots back.
The Bison will now be off until Apr. 20-21, when they will host the inaugural Patriot League Championship at the Bucknell Golf Club.
