BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Zach Pogust shot a 2-over-par 74 and Schuyler Stitzer earned First Team All-Patriot League honors after placing T-4th, leading Bucknell to a fourth-place team finish at the Patriot League Championship, which wrapped up Sunday at Saucon Valley Country Club.
Lehigh led wire-to-wire and captured the title with an 898 team score over 54 holes. Navy was runner-up at 905. The Mountain hawks began the day with a seven-shot lead over the Midshipmen and maintained that advantage as both teams posted 303 on Sunday. Army finished third at 915, followed by Bucknell (929), Lafayette (948), Holy Cross (950) and Colgate (965).
The Bison closed with a 310, led by Pogust's 74. He made two birdies, four bogeys and 12 pars en route to his best Patriot League Championship round.
Stitzer shot 72-77 on Saturday, and he followed it up with another 77 in the final round. After a slow start, he was even on the back nine and earned All-Patriot League recognition for the first time.
