Bucknell Women's Track & Field Earns 48 Selections on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's track and field team led the Patriot League with 48 Academic Honor Roll Selections. The total was 11 more than the next closest school in the league.
A total of 202 women's track and field student-athletes across the Patriot League were named to the Academic Honor Roll. Bucknell's 48 selections was the league high, followed by Holy Cross with 37 and Lafayette and Lehigh each receiving 29.
Bucknell's six track and field members with 4.0 GPAs are a league-best. Sarah Bella (Biology), Leah Bettner (Biology), Sarah Canfield (Neuroscience), Caitlin Cavanaugh (Psychology), Caroline Tolli (Eduaction/Spanish) and Emily Waksmunski (Civil Engineering) all earned 4.0 GPAs to lead the Bison's 48 Academic Honor Roll selections.
This is the second straight year Bettner and Canfield ended their spring semesters with 4.0 GPAs. Junior Tolli, the Patriot League Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year, earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average at Bucknell for the third straight spring semester.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
