Bucknell Men's Golf in 11th Place after Two Rounds at Rutherford Intercollegiate

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- The Bison men's golf team trudged through 36 holes on Saturday at the Rutherford Intercollegiate after Friday's action was rained out, and Bucknell stands in 11th place after posting rounds of 317 and 307. Dan Bernard is the low Bison player so far after turning in a 77 and 74.
Will Bachman came back with a second-round 75 after opening with an 82. Ben Mattingly shot a pair of 79s, while J.J. Szmadzinski shot 79-82 and Schuyler Stitzer 82-79.
Penn State has the team lead at 586 after rounds of 290-296. Army and Delaware are tied for second place, nine shots back at 595. Loyola is fourth at 599 and Towson fifth at 600.
Justin Martinson of Delaware and T.J. Howe of Penn State both shot 70-73 and are tied for the individual lead at 1-under par.
The third and final round gets underway at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
