Bucknell Women's Rowing Competes Against Duke and Iowa in Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. (Cayuga Lake Inlet) – The Bucknell women's rowing team sent three boats to Ithaca, N.Y., and the Cayuga Lake Inlet to face Duke and Iowa on Saturday. The Bison varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four were in action at the event, which also featured races between Rhode Island and Buffalo.
Bucknell's second varsity eight placed second in its three-boat race, defeating Duke. The varsity eight and varsity four both posted third-place showings. Duke won the varsity eight race, while Iowa claimed the varsity four.
The Bison lightweights are scheduled to be in action Sunday at the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Crew Championships on the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax, Va.
