ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Will Bachman and Jon Hartman both finished with 1-over-par 72s and the Bucknell men's golf team shot 301 to move up two spots to eighth place at the Navy Invitational, which wrapped up Sunday under sunny skies at the USNA Golf Course.
Bachman's 72 followed up an opening-round 79, and his 36-hole total of 151 was the best on the team and tied for 16th in the field. Hartman improved by 10 strokes over his first-round score, which was played in cold, rainy conditions, and he tied for 22nd.

TCU and Columbia entered the final round tied for the team lead, but TCU closed with an even-par 284, 11 shots better than the Lions, who ended up second. Lafayette, the defending Patriot League champion, finished third at 610, followed by Rhode Island and Navy at 611. Loyola (612), St. Joseph's (614), Bucknell (620), St. Bonaventure (621) and Iona (622) rounded out the top 10 in the 20-team field. Among other Patriot League competition, Lehigh finished 11th at 623, and Colgate was 19th at 659.
